Sunday Morning

Children's Sunday School

Children from kindergarten through 5th grade meet from 9:30 to 10:30 am each Sunday in the Education Wing in their respective groups.

Angel Club - Children in preschool meet from 9:30 to 10:20 am each Sunday in room 1 of the Education Wing.  Angel Club is a preschool Sunday school that introduces young children to God, the self, and the other through story, dramatic play, games, and art.  The preschool time will conclude with Wee Worship, a 10-15 minutes worship experience.

Kid's Club - Children in 1st through 3rd grade meet each Sunday in the Education Wing.  Kid's Club uses a Workshop Rotation Model to teach major biblical and faith themes through engaging workshops: art, storytelling/drama, music, games, and audio-visual, among others.

The Explorers - Children in 4th through 6th grade meet each Sunday in room 5 of the Education Wing.  The Explorers group aims to introduce pre-teens to the belief and worship of the Episcopal church.  Using the Nicene Creed as a backdrop, participants will engage in discussion and meaningful activity as they explore the foundations of our church.

Episcopal Youth - Students in 7th through 10th grade meet in Youth Room in the Education Wing.  Youth study is primarily concerned with helping students live in the world by helping them apply scripture and church life and through the building of character.

Children's Church

Children from kindergarten through 5th grade gather at 10:30 am each Sunday in the Education Wing Chapel.  During Children's Church, children will make use of Prayer Book worship: thus engaging the weekly lessons, singing hymns and songs of praise, and offering prayers of thanksgiving and petition.

Children return in procession to the main Sanctuary following the Prayers of the People in time for the start of the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Wednesday Evening

Davey's Diner

Davey's Diner is community dinner at which everyone is treated to a hot and healthy, meal.  Service begins at 5:30 pm.

Angel Club

Children in preschool meet from 6 to 7 pm (after dinner) each Wednesday in room 2 of the Education Wing or on the playground.  This continuation of our Sunday group focuses on friendship and fellowship as children encounter one another through active and creative play.

Kidz Club, the Gardeners, & Play Pals

Children from kindergarten through 5th grade meet from 6 to 7 pm (after dinner) each Wednesday in the Education Wing.  Activity will rotate (usually monthly) between a variety of activities, including Children's Choir, the Gardeners, and Play Pals.

At Children's Choir, children learn, pray, and grow with spiritual music.  Through this choir the children will prepare for the annual Christmas pageant, as well as other performances throughout the year. 

Through the Gardeners children will cultivate the Peace Garden, located on the east end of the Education Wing. 

At Play Pals, children will engage in active play, often through organized sports clinics.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is offered each summer.  This is a week long event filled with music, art, drama, and games.  This year's VBS will be held from June 14-18, 9am to 12 noon.  For more information go the Summer Programs page in the Children & Youth section.

Nursery

A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers from 8 a.m. to noon. A short age-appropriate “lesson” is presented to toddlers during the 9:30 education hour. Pagers are available. For more information go to the Nursery page in the Children & Youth section.
